ABSTRACT:
Novel phenolamine resins which are condensation products of hexamethylene tetramine with a phenol component such as an alkylphenol with 5 to 12 carbon atoms in the alkyl radical, styrene-alkylated phenol, cumylphenol, diphenylolpropane, hydroxybenzoic acid. The condensation reaction is conducted at a temperature ranging from 90.degree. to 180.degree. C.
The products thus prepared are efficient stabilizing agents for rubbers and vulcanizates.
