ABSTRACT:
The method envisages calcining ceramic casting moulds, their cooling to between 30.degree. and 60.degree.C, applying particulate material preheated to a temperature between 600.degree. and 850.degree.C to the outside of the moulds followed by the compacting of the material and keeping the moulds in said preheated particulate material for a period lasting between 10 and 40 minutes.
