ABSTRACT:
A process for preparing compounds of the formula: ##STR1## or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each individually are hydrogen, halogen, or nitro, which comprises the steps of: (a) alkylating a compound of the formula: ##STR2## wherein R.sub.3 is C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkyl or phenyl, with a compound of the formula:
