ABSTRACT:
A method of processing an imagewise exposed photographic silver halide colour material by a redox amplification method in wherein colour developing solution is applied to the material in the presence of atmospheric oxygen and a hydroxylamine compound of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each an alkyl or aryl groups either of which may be substituted, and
wherein the colour developer solution is agitated sufficiently for redox amplification to occur.
