ABSTRACT:
At least a winding of a stator stack2is molded by injecting a fused resin molding material into a space formed between a top mold and a bottom mold member. When the stator stack2of the resolver, which is annular and includes a coiled winding7, is sandwiched between the top mold member10and bottom mold member20, a movable disc12is urged by a spring device13, into close engagement with the bottom mold member20. While the movable disc12is closely engaged with the bottom mold member20, the stack2of the resolver is sandwiched between the bottom mold member20and the top mold member10. This method prevents the generation of gaps between the stator stack2and mold10, 20due to unevenness of the thickness in the stator stack2.
