ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a method of mass-coloring synthetic materials, which comprises using at least one pigment dye of formula (1) wherein R and R1together form a phenyl or heteroaryl radical and R2is hydrogen, or R1and R2together form a phenyl or heteroaryl radical and R is hydrogen, and the rings A and B may each independently of the other be substituted by C1-C4?alkyl, C1–C4alkoxy, halogen, —COOR3, —CONHR4and/or by —SR5, wherein R3, R4and R5are each independently of the others hydrogen, C1–C4alkyl, C6–C12aryl or heteroaryl, to synthetic materials colored with such pigment dyes, and to novel pigment dyes of formula (3), wherein R6is hydrogen or bromine
