ABSTRACT:
When an alignment film416and an overcoating film429are formed by flexography on the front side of a second transparent substrate420, on which color filters407R,407G, and407B are formed at a predetermined same-color pitch P1, during the procedure for manufacturing a liquid crystal device400, the pitch of meshes of an anilox roller used in flexography and the pitch of pitches formed on the surfaces of projections of a letterpress are set to be equal to the same-color pitch P1of the color filters407R,407G, and407B, thereby preventing moiré.
