ABSTRACT:
A high quality coated paper for printing having excellent smoothness, gloss and printability is provided by using a coating composition mainly composed of a pigment and a latex of heterogeneous polymer particles consisting of a hard polymer domain having a glass transition temperature of 80.degree. to 220.degree. C. and a soft polymer domain having a glass transition temperature of 25.degree. to 95.degree. C. in combination with a high temperature calender finishing.
