ABSTRACT:
A method is disclosed for producing a photoengravable, laminated printing plate including the steps of applying a homogeneous adhesive free of noncompressible materials between mating sheets of magnesium and steel and then placing the mated sheets into a press to compress the mated sheets until the adhesive is uniformly dispersed therebetween.
