ABSTRACT:
Methods useful for inhibiting VCAM-1 and for treating chronic inflammatory conditions in a patient in need thereof are disclosed comprising administering to the patient effective amounts of a compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each independently a C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl group;
