ABSTRACT:
A method of inhibiting the formation of scale from aqueous solutions containing scale-forming ions at temperatures of 400.degree. F. and above during production and utilization of such aqueous solutions comprising adding to the solutions certain substituted iminodi(methylene phosphonic acid) compounds or a water-soluble salt thereof.
