ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a method for reducing the occurrence and progress of intestinal polyps that may develop into colon cancer, and a carboxylic acid amide compound as an active component to reduce intestinal polyps, represented by the following Formula:wherein R is a lower alkyl group and X is a halogen an example being 4-diethoxyphosphinoylmethyl-N-(4-bromo-2-cyanophenyl) benzamide.
