ABSTRACT:
The invention provides a method of extruding a thermoplastic resin pipe wherein the steps of the method are extruding a melt of the thermoplastic resin by a die, and sizing the melt by a cylindrical sizer, in which the outer diameter of a die lip is smaller than the outer diameter of the sized pipe, and the thickness of the die lip is smaller than the thickness of the sized pipe. Take up rate is 50 to 20 m/min. The temperature of the melt in the extruding process is 30.degree. C. to 90.degree. C. above the melting temperature of the melt at an outer pipe diameter from 11 to 114 mm.
