ABSTRACT:
A method of depositing a conductive polymer film on a textile fabric substrate is provided by the oxidative polymerization of a pyrrole compound in the presence of a dopant anion and a stabilizing agent having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are independently selected from H, OH, and OR, and R is C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl; and R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 are independently selected from H, COOH and SO.sub.3 H.
