ABSTRACT:
Aminoplast curable cationic coating compositions are disclosed. The coating compositions contain an onium salt group-containing polymer and an aminoplast curing agent which has at least one group of the structure: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is carbon derived from an aldehyde or a ketone.
