ABSTRACT:
Method of dispersing photographic adjuvants in hydrophilic colloid compositions for forming a water-permeable photosensitive or non-photosensitive colloid layer of a photographic silver halide element with the aid of at least one high-boiling substantially water-insoluble oil-former of the class of dihydroxymethyl(5,2,1,0.sup.2,6)tricyclodecane and the carboxylic, phosphoric, or phosphonic di-ester derivatives thereof.
