ABSTRACT:
A method for directly measuring the concentration of biocides in aqueous systems comprising directly determining an absorbance or emission spectrum of the aqueous system in a wavelength range of from 200 to 2500 nm and applying chemometrics algorithms to the spectrum to determine the concentration of the biocides.
