ABSTRACT:
A development method which comprises developing a silver halide photographic ligh-sensitive material in the presence of a compound represented by the following general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 each represent a hydrogen atom, alklyl group, alkenyl group, aralkyl group or aryl group, X represents an anion, and P is 1 or 2.
