ABSTRACT:
A method for directly performing a data analysis, a logical design and a physical design processes on an EDIF file and an initial data, without utilizing Troll relational Database system, to create an optimized schema, a meta data and a processor load (PLD) without any overlapped process. First, the EDIF file and the initial data file are received and an initial system environment is set for creating the meta data and the processor load data. Further, a DBMS.sub.-- MODE.sp file and a DBMS.sub.-- REL.sp file are created such that the database mode specification file represent a recorded definition of a SET mode defined in all the EDIF files, and such that the database relation specification file represent a recorded definition of the relation in all the EDIF files which are being converted into Chill Syntax Structure. Various meta data corresponding to each processor are created based on the catalogue of transaction files. Additionally, the data format specification files and link data files are used in creating the PLD.
