ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for producing compensated baseband signal components for a moving radar antenna. A fixed frequency oscillator is used and a baseband signal is complex multiplied by a time dependent multiplicand to produce a signal free of overlap convolution so that clutter signal components are centered around the Doppler frequency f.sub.D =0. Consequently, target detection is as easy as for a stationary radar antenna.
