A composition comprising a vinyl resin and a mixture of acrylic compounds each having the formula: ##SPC1##
Wherein n is from 0 to 10, or a mixture of acrylic compounds each having the formula: ##SPC2##
Wherein n is from 0 to 10, may be coated on to a metal substrate and subjected to ionizing irradiation and used as a primer coating for numerous radiation-sensitive topcoats.
