ABSTRACT:
Silicone rubber is adhered to a metal surface by coating the metal surface with an organopolysiloxane adhesion improving agent of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is a monovalent organic radical of from 2 to 8 carbon atoms which contains an unsaturated bond, R.sup.2 is a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon radical of from 1 to 10 carbon atoms which contains no unsaturated bond, a is a number in the range of 1<a<4, and b is a number in the range of 0.ltoreq.b<2, with the proviso that a+b is<4, and having a polymerization degree of from 2 to 1000, placing an unvulcanized silicone rubber on the coated surface, and vulcanizing the unvulcanized rubber.
