A method and apparatus for zooming an image. In the present method, a plurality of scan periods and a plurality of scan data are provided, wherein the ithscan data is provided in the ithscan period. The jthscan data is used to drive at least two adjacent scan lines within the jthscan period, wherein i, j are natural numbers.
