ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a method of arresting and treating duodenal and gastric ulcers, and chronic gastritis comprising administering an effective amount of [4S(4.alpha.,4a.alpha.,5a.alpha.,12a.alpha.)]-4,7-bis (dimethylamino)-1,4,4a,5,5a,6,11,12a-octahydro-3,10,12, 2a-tetrahydroxy-1,11-dioxo-2-napthacenecarboxymide monohydrochloride.
