ABSTRACT:
A teleprinting method for periodically transmitting billing data to a meter user for measuring service and to allow the user to control and pay the bill to a supplier or the service, in which data about a service from a user meter is transmitted to a central processor at a supplier location and data is processed, and wherein a corresponding service rate is taken into consideration, with the service data being assembled together with a service rate and service charge with all other data related to the user and stored in the memory of the central processor is periodically assembled and transmitted from the central processor and then sent to a printer at the user location for printing the data stored in the remote processor on a blank bill form available to the user at the supplier location, and the blank bill is printed to produce a bill form to allow the user to control the billed data and carry out payment for the service received.
