ABSTRACT:
The present invention is directed to a method of separating and purifying palladium which is present in a solution with at least one other platinum group metal by adjusting the pH of the solution to from about 0 to 5, contacting the acidified solution with an ortho alkoxy substituted phenyl oxime of the formula: ##STR1## or a composition comprising of one or more of said compounds dissolved in an organic solvent, wherein:
