ABSTRACT:
A method is described for determining the optical and individual progression length of a continuous vision lens on the basis of the measured cornea/bridge distance of a spectacle frame which is matched in advance. The invention is distinguished by the following steps:a) the value of the individual cornea/bridge distance (HSA) of a spectacle frame which has been matched in advance is obtained,b) the individual distance d between a far reference point BFand a centering cross ZKis measured, andc) the optimum and individual progression length (Lopt) is determined using the following formula;in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?Lopt=0.63*(HSA+13.5mm)+d(BF, ZK).in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?
