ABSTRACT:
This invention is directed to a method useful in the diagnosis of HIV. The method involves reacting monoclonal antibodies to particular prosomal proteins with certain blood cell types obtained from a sample, and observing an increase or decrease in the levels of the prosomal proteins on the cell's surface.
