ABSTRACT:
Nucleic acids which preferably hybridize under the hybridization conditions 5-6.times. SSC and 42.degree. C. to 60.degree. C. with a 2.5 kb large KpnI-BamHI fragment from pLM63, preferably with a nucleic acid according to FIG. 1. Such nucleic acids are suitable for hybridization tests for Listeria bacteria if they contain reporter groups. Proteins are also described which are suitable for the production of antibodies against Listeria bacteria.
