ABSTRACT:
Catalytic reforming of C.sub.9 + containing naphtha with a high yield of BTX is disclosed. Naphtha is converted under customary reforming conditions on a catalyst which contains at least one platinum group metal at least one metal of the group IV B, and at least one halogen component on an oxidic carrier.
