ABSTRACT:
A novel agar medium for the isolation, sub-cultivation, and indirect or direct drug-susceptibility testing ofMycobacterium tuberculosisis disclosed. Also disclosed are methods of isolating and growingMycobacterium tuberculosisand methods of drug-resistance screening using the agar medium of the invention.
