ABSTRACT:
There is provided a method for sterilizing a transformed microorganism, which is characterized by mixing at a temperature range of 25° C. or higher to less than 35° C. a solution containing a transformed microorganism belonging toEscherichiaintroduced with a DNA coding for an enzyme having a thermal denaturation temperature of 50° C. or higher, with at least one member selected from the group consisting of monovalent alcohols having one to three carbon atoms and acetone, in an amount of 10 to 35% by weight of the solution.
