ABSTRACT:
A method for speed measurement according to the laser-Doppler-principle with which with the help of a beam splitter the light beam of a laser is converted into two part beams crossing on or in the measured object and with the help of an optical receiver the spectral maximum of the intensity modulation of the reflected light is measured. A Koster prism is used as a beam splitter such that the part beams formed intersect at the desired angle on or in the measured object.
