ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a method for selecting a quality of service for a data transmission connection between a wireless terminal (MT1) and a mobile communication network (NW1). In the wireless terminal (MT1), at least one application (301, 302, 303) is arranged to be performed, which determines at least one parameter affecting the quality of service for said data transmission connection. In the method, the properties (401) of the wireless terminal (MT1) affecting the data transmission connection are determined and compared with at least one parameter affecting the quality of service determined by the application (301, 302, 303), to find out if any determined property (401) of the wireless terminal restricts the quality of service of the data transmission connection, with respect to at least one said parameter.
