ABSTRACT:
A method for removing unbound labeling reagent from a composition comprising bound and unbound labeling reagent is described. Lilo-matrix conjugate capable of binding unbound labeling reagent is contacted with a biomolecule labeling reaction mixture and then the labeled biomolecule essentially free of unbound labeling reagent is removed.
