ABSTRACT:
A method for preparing .beta.-sitosterol is disclosed which provides the sterol in a readily consumable form. The method includes the spray drying of the .beta.-sitosterol in a mixed micelle formulation. The product is provided in a convenient form that can be provided to food or drinks or incorporated into solid and suspension dosage forms.
