ABSTRACT:
A method for producing a seamless tube for use as an intermediate image-transfer belt, comprising the step of continuously extruding an electrically conductive composition comprising the following components (a), (b) and (c) to form an unstretched seamless tube having a thickness of 50 to 1000 .mu.m and a sheet resistance of 10.sup.5 to 10.sup.13 .OMEGA./.quadrature.: (a) a thermoplastic aromatic polycarbonate resin, (b) a thermoplastic poly(alkylene terephthalate) resin and (c) acetylene black, the amount of the component (a) being from 60 to 95 wt. % of the total weight of the component (a) and the component (b) the amount of the component (b) being from 40 to 5 wt. % of the total weight of the component (a) and the component (b), and the amount of the component (c) being from 10 to 25 parts by weight for 100 parts by weight of the total amount of the component (a) and the component (b).
