ABSTRACT:
A method for producing propylene oxide by reacting a hydroperoxide with propylene by a fixed bed flow reaction in the presence of a titanium-containing solid catalyst, wherein said catalyst is diluted with a diluent comprising a solid inorganic compound which is inactive to the reaction and has a heat conductivity at 400 K of about 10 Wm.sup.-1 K.sup.-1 or more.
