ABSTRACT:
A method for manufacturing a metal mask that facilitates easy dimensional control in the manufacturing process and can manufacture multiple metal masks having high and consistent precision. A Cr film2having a mask pattern2ais formed on the surface of a glass plate1,a dry film4is formed on the Cr film2,the dry film4is exposed from the glass plate1side with the Cr film2as a mask, a mask pattern4ahaving the same shape as that of the mask pattern2ais formed on the dry film4,and a metal plating layer6is formed on the Cr film2.The metal plating layer6is separated to form a metal mask7.
