A method for producing a fluorine-containing silicone compound, which comprises subjecting a compound of the following formula (I) and a hydrosilicone compound having at least one hydrogen atom bonded to a silicon atom to hydrosilylation to obtain a fluorine-containing silicone compound having a R.sup.f --Q--CR.sup.1 R.sup.2 CR.sup.3 HCR.sup.4 R.sup.5 -- group bonded to the silicon atom:
