ABSTRACT:
A method for producing butyraldehydes, by separating and purifying mixed butyraldehyde products formed by hydroformylation of propylene, into n-butyraldehyde and isobutyraldehyde by using a distillation column, wherein the distillation column is operated under such conditions that the pressure at the top of the distillation column is within a range of from 0.001 to 0.5 kg/cm.sup.2 G, and the pressure at the bottom of the column is within a range of from 0.05 to 1.0 kg/cm.sup.2 G.
