ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a method for producing an aromatic L-amino acid using a bacterium of the Enterobacteriaceae family, particularly a bacterium belonging to genusEscherichiaorPantoea, which has been modified to attenuate expression of the ydiN gene, the ydiB gene, or both.
