ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a method for producing an L-amino acid using a bacterium of the Enterobacteriaceae family, particularly a bacterium belonging to genusEscherichiaorPantoea, which has been modified to attenuate expression of one or more of the cynT, cynS, cynX and/or cynR genes.
