ABSTRACT:
Method and apparatus for processing signals, in particular audio signals for hearing aids. A delay-free processing of signals is achieved in that at first a momentary amplitude signal A(t) is produced whose strength is proportional to the momentary amplitude of the input signal u.sub.i (t) and that the momentary amplitude signal A(t) is used for processing the input signal u.sub.i (t).
