ABSTRACT:
A novel process for processing a silver halide color photographic material is disclosed, which comprises color-developing a silver halide color photographic material which has been imagewise exposed to light, and then processing the silver halide color photographic material with a processing solution having a bleaching ability, wherein the silver halide color photographic material comprises at least one magenta coupler represented by formula (M-1) and the processing solution having a bleaching ability comprises as a bleaching agent (1) at least one of ferric complex salts of compounds selected from Compound Group (A) and (2) a ferric 1,3-diaminopropanetetraacetate complex salt in a molar proportion of the (1) to the (2) of 3 or less:
