ABSTRACT:
A method is provided for preventing or reducing the risk of restenosis following angioplasty by administering a retinoid, such as an RXR-selective retinoid, e.g. the compound of the formula: ##STR1## and a PPAR.gamma. specific ligand and pharmaceutically acceptable salts and esters and amides thereof.
