ABSTRACT:
Supported Ti.sup.III catalysts are prepared by contacting a slurry of a solid inorganic support such as magnesium chloride in a hydrocarbon medium such as Isopar.RTM. E containing a tetravalent titanium compound containing at least two halogen atoms such as titanium tetrachloride with hydroquinone or a substituted hydroquinone.
