ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a method for preparing an aluminum foil comprising the steps of roughening and anodizing an aluminum foil, posttreating said roughened and anodized aluminum foil with an aqueous bicarbonate solution and subsequently rinsing said posttreated foil with water characterized in that the temperature of said water ranges from 30.degree. C. to 55.degree. C.
