ABSTRACT:
A method for improving adhesion between ophthalmic glass including a hydrophobic and/or oil-repellent substrate coating and an adhesive holding pad associated with a glass trimming device including applying a temporary layer on the hydrophobic and/or oil-repellent substrate coating, the temporary layer imparting to the ophthalmic glass a surface energy of at least 15 mJ/m2is provided.
