ABSTRACT:
Disclosed herein is a method for preparing 3-aminopropane phosphoric acid represented by the formula (I), comprising the steps of (a) reacting 3-amino-1-propanoi with phosphorus oxychloride at a low temperature, and (b) hydrolyzing the product of the step (a) in the presence of an acidic catalyst, and a cosmetic composition containing 3-aminopropanic phosphoric acid or its salts as an active ingredient. ##STR1##
